The Humane Society of the United States wanted to identify more supporters, deepen their involvement, and increase their support. They wanted to maximize the donor experience based on direct mail, and increase the average gifts they received.

They used WealthEngine to create and evaluate 2 stat models. They were also able to screen their existing donors, allowing them to populate and restructure their major gift portfolios.

Their Result

By using WealthEngine, the Humane Society’s fundraising team found millionaires among their groups of donors who were giving $17 and $18 annual donations, enabling them to increase donations based on their donors’ propensity and capacity. Additionally, WE data allowed them to increase inquiries about planned giving by 49% in one year and their mid-level appeal program by 20%.
