The Goal

The animal rights organization’s planned giving team aimed to build a pipeline of planned giving prospects from legacy donors who could be nurtured for estate planning as well as planned giving.

WealthEngine's Solution

To better understand their donors’ wealth attributes, the planned giving team used WealthEngine to screen legacy donors. They also distributed surveys to gauge which of their legacy donors were planning to include their animal rights organization in their will.

Their Result

After assessing each individual donor’s propensity, capacity, and intent to give, the organization’s planned giving team was able to segment donors with planned giving potential who already gave at the $500 level. This resulted in a pipeline of 2,500 prospects to be nurtured by planned giving officers.
