New Partner Announcement: CCS and WealthEngine Partner to Meet Research Needs of Nonprofits

CCS and WealthEngine are delighted to announce their new partnership which began in late 2007. CCS is a full-service fundraising consulting firm which has been helping organizations for more than 60 years. Today, the firm has more than 200 directors around the world who serve every type of nonprofit including organizations in the education, healthcare, religious, international relief and development and environmental sectors. The firm is unique in that it offers on-site, full-time consulting during the run of an organization’s campaign.

“Research is very important to us as fundraising professionals,” says Nicole Thigpen, Vice President of Marketing for CCS. “In fact, there is a growing need for research today for fundraising professionals and organizations. This is one reason we believed it was important to partner with WealthEngine.”

Thigpen notes some other major changes in today’s fundraising climate. “As the nonprofit sector and fundraising has professionalized, CCS has seen an increased call for additional services beyond campaign design and management. We provide a broad range of development services including audits, feasibility studies and interim development office management. We also offer planning and partnership services, including board training and coalition building, to our nonprofit clients.”

Nicole Thigpen

“Beyond a need for more research by organizations in the midst of campaigns or other fundraising initiatives, training is another growing need for development professionals. CCS has a comprehensive internal training program and offers its staff more than 60 different courses,” notes Thigpen.

CCS is involved in campaigns ranging from $1 million to more than $1 billion. Examples of successful campaigns include Habitat for Humanity International’s More than Houses Campaign which raised more than $593 million and Lions Club International’s Campaign SightFirst II which raised more than $146 million. CCS professionals are based in 11 major North American cities as well as in two cities elsewhere in the world; however, CCS directors are onsite working in campaign locations as diverse as Augusta, ME and Budapest.

WealthEngine and CCS look forward to many joint successes in this new partnership.

Client Questions and Answers:

Q: How do I review my FindWealth Online search results in one section?

A: Since the revamping of the FindWealth Online site, when your search results appear in the advance section, each match data source is listed separately under the Source Detail Tab.  If you are interested in viewing your FWO results in one section, the old way, just click on the Hide Tabs button in the upper right hand corner of your results.

Q: What is the difference between Inner Circle and Circle of Friends?

A:WealthEngine offers the capability to provide a valuable network between the constituents you know with constituents you may not know. This functionality is referred to as Inner Circle and Circle of Friends.

The Inner Circle is organization-specific and consists of your organization's VIPs – individuals, board members, trustees, prior trustees, major gift donors, etc. – that will provide assistance in your major gift fundraising efforts.

Each member of your Inner Circle has his own network of individuals that sit on common corporate or philanthropic boards. This network is captured by our Circle of Friends feature and helps you find appropriate links to prospective donors.
