WealthEngine is pleased to announce the promotion of Sally Boucher as Director of Research. For over 4 years, Sally served and managed our Platinum Consulting team, providing prospect research support and fundraising guidance to many of the world’s largest and most successful nonprofits. She is often sharing her knowledge via our webinars and at various speaking engagements and conferences with AFP, CASE, APRA, AHP and the Virginia Fundraising Institute.
Moving forward, Sally will oversee WealthEngine’s Knowledge Center, laying the groundwork for programs that will provide comprehensive research and analysis of fundraising strategy. Sally has experience in WealthEngine’s thought leadership, having served as the primary author of both editions of Best Practices for Prospect Research in Higher Education Fundraising, and as a contributor to most of WealthEngine’s white papers, Best Practices reports and case studies.
“This is an exciting opportunity to help create a repository and conduit for all of the knowledge and experience within the WealthEngine team,” says Sally. “We have expertise in so many areas including prospect research, fundraising, marketing, analytics, nonprofit management, information systems, data mining, and the list goes on and on. Our knowledge center will be a place where we will collect and disseminate that insight which will ultimately be a great value to the nonprofit sector. We will continue to publish the type of original research reports and case studies our clients have come to value, but we are planning so much more. The nonprofit community can look forward to more actionable, strategy-oriented workbooks and webinar series, training curriculum, in-person and virtual networking events and we will continue to leverage our connections with thought leaders in our industry by sharing their insights through events and publications. We have so much to share, the hardest part is knowing where to start!”
Prior to joining WealthEngine, Sally was Director of Development for the College of Education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She has also served as Director of Development for The American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, Virginia, and as Planned Giving Officer and Development Officer for Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Communities. She has served as president of the Shenandoah Chapter of AFP and has co-chaired the Virginia Fundraising Institute. Sally has also provided fundraising and nonprofit management consulting services to non-profit organizations including disaster relief, faith-based and arts organizations.
