WealthEngine has several ratings and scores (including our new Net Worth, Liquidity, Total Assets and Estimated Annual Donations scores available in batch screenings) that can help you determine the right approach for the right person or group that you are researching. Here are the key ratings and scores that will get you started on the right path:
-
Quality of Match (QOM) scores of 9 or higher are considered an exact match. Remember a 9 isn’t any better than an 18, they are both exact matches.
-
A Propensity to Give (P2G) score of 1-0 represents your best or top major gift prospects, however, those that score within the P2G 1 and P2G 2 range are considered strong prospects for major gift and other purposes. P2G 3’s can be useful for annual fund giving. For more information on how to interpret the P2G scores, please visit the P2G training video (8 minutes) and/or the written overview in the Help section of FindWealth Online.
-
Estimated Giving Capacity (EGC) calculates the total philanthropic giving that a prospect can afford to give over a 5 year period to any and all nonprofits:
-
It is made up of 5 key components: income, stock, pension, real estate and giving, which gives you a concise picture of a donor’s or prospect’s ability to give to charitable organizations.
-
Property values from LexisNexis Real Estate are only included in the EGC calculations when an individual’s property is currently held and has a QOM of 9 or higher.
